What is Reiki?
Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key)is a non-invasive energetic system that is thousands of years old. It is now widely practiced to promote wellness and release stress and anxiety, balance and harmonize the body's energetic system and enhances the immune system as well.
Becoming a Reiki Practitioner
Reiki First Degree (for beginners):
In this course you will learn the origin, history and principles of the Usui Reiki Tradition; learn how to attract and channel
the limitless Universal Energy; receive an energetic attunement which connects
you to the universal life energy; learn the traditional hand placements for
treating the whole body, and hands-on practice which entails the application
of energy. Each student will be led through a step-by-step discovery of the
nature of universal energy, beginning with the concept that everything in
the universe, including us, is made of energy. You will learn how to give
Reiki to yourself and others by using the traditional methods, and you
will learn insightful practices gained from the instructor's personal
experiences.
The Second Degree training builds upon the First Degree foundation.
You will continue your study of universal energy by adding the use of sacred
symbols, which are tools to facilitate connecting with aspects of the universal
life force energy. Sacred symbols are said to directly stimulate the subconscious
energy patterns in the brain and energy body, or physical and nonphysical reality.
You will receive an energetic attunement connecting you to the usage of the sacred
symbols. This course provides a very thorough and intense exploration of the nature
of Reiki and the empowerment of ancient symbols. This class is great for anyone desiring
to expand the method in which they incorporate Reiki. The Third Degree training concentrates on intuition, clarity, focus and Mastery in the Art Reiki. At this level your instructor will guide you to go within and empower yourself with the knowledge and skills that you have gained. You will receive an energetic attunement activating the spiritual and intuitive sacred symbols. This is an awaking period bringing together not only the practical knowledge you have gained, but also what your higher self speaks of your soul's journey. This process prepares you to apply Reiki in a broader and more spiritual manner.
Third Degree Mastery encourages students to consider Reiki in relation to the world within and around
them. At this level you will experience intense personal soul growth defining how you use Reiki to
enrich yourself and others, how the universe speaks to you as an individual, as well as clarifying
your role as a Reiki Holistic Practitioner. Through the process of attunement and practice, you become
a clearer channel whereby the pure universal life energy can connect and promote you to mastery while
assisting others to know they hold the key to their own self-healing. At this level, you will have
gained mastery at the deepest level by going within and communicating with the purest and highest part of one self. This training is specifically for those who want to teach Reiki to others. You will receive an attunement that energetically confers the sacred symbols to use in attunements. In this class you will explore and define your personal relationship as a Reiki Holistic Practitioner, Master and Teacher. Continuing Education in Reiki InstructionThis program is designed for students desiring to continue the commitment of Reiki Training. A three-month, weekly apprenticeship program is established with a faculty instructor. The curriculum involves group study, discussion, hands-on practice and case studies conducted outside the classroom setting.
